We’ve got your back!

COVID-19 has shaken the world and Career Development is here to help you navigate job, internship, and grad school searches during this shift.

Internships

Experiential learning doesn’t have to stop with social distancing.  Look for opportunities to engage in virtual internships, which may be offered in a more traditional semester-long format, or as a project-based micro internship.

Check out opportunities for virtual internships in Handshake or by visiting our internship page.  Looking for international experience, but can’t travel?  Check out virtual global internships using ViaTRM.  The Global Education website includes quick videos to help you create an account set up their search preferences to focus on internships.  Thinking something with the federal government is in your interest area?  Check out the Virtual Student Federal Service for remote internship opportunities.

LinkedIn Learning

Current Oglethorpe University students now have free, unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning’s library of online expert-led courses. More than 5,000 high-quality, detailed training options include the latest in-demand business, creative and technology skills to support professional and personal development.

Look for an email sent directly to your Oglethorpe email with instructions on how to get started, or log in through the Oglethorpe website.

For log-in questions, please contact the Oglethorpe Help Desk. The LinkedIn Learning Help website also offers helpful resources, FAQs, and a live chat feature to help with questions.
